Let Every Jain Count
Keeping communities informed and prepared
As part of our commitment to keeping people well-informed about important civic matters, Aamantran Residency is sharing awareness about the
Let Every Jain Count (LEJC) initiative — a grassroots effort to help people participate fully and accurately in India's upcoming Census 2027
What is Census 2027?
India's national Census — last conducted in 2011 — will
now conduct in 2026-27. It is the country's most comprehensive data-gathering exercise,
covering every household across the nation. The data collected directly influences government
planning, infrastructure, welfare schemes, and the recognition of communities at a national
level.
About the LEJC initiative
Let Every Jain Count is a volunteer-driven awareness
campaign encouraging members of the Jain community to register their religion accurately when filling out Census forms. The initiative focuses on education and outreach — ensuring people know what to fill, how to fill it, and why it matters for the community's future.
How Aamantran is helping ?
We are connecting people with LEJC so that they
have easy access to guidance ahead of Census 2027. We are not affiliated with the initiative —
simply acting as a channel to pass along information we believe is useful and relevant to our
people.
"The Census is a civic exercise that belongs to every resident of India. Filling it
accurately — including one's religion, language, and household details — ensures that the data
reflects the true diversity of the country"
